Australian airport ‘Made in Colombia’
News • Central Innovation • 7 March 2017
Two Colombian architects are the brains behind a confidential airfield being built on an island off the coast of Australia. The project is part of an oil and gas facility being created in a remote location in Australia that will offer continuous operations, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, serving major players in the oil & gas industry. Andrés Villaveces and Juan Pablo León, partners in the award-winning firm Métrica, have completed projects in 18 countries around the world. The firm switched to ARCHICAD two years ago and never looked back.
