Did you know that the Ci Tools Schedules can be used to find any Ci Doors and Windows in the 3D Views? Maybe you want to quickly change the size parameters or any other properties of the element, particularly helpful in a large project. If it can be shown in a schedule, it can be found and selected in 3D with just two clicks.

D+W Schedules – Modifying the Layout

While we’re on the topic of Doors+Windows Schedules, another thing to watch for is making changes to the Layout of your schedule. You can select any Schedule Element and change, say, the formatting of the Notes, but you’ll find that once you Update the schedule, you’ll lose those changes as well.

The way around this is that when you want to make layout changes, be sure to select All the schedule elements, make the change to them all, and then in future updates, those changes will be preserved.

D+W Schedule Notes – Push Back to Model

If you’re working with Doors + Windows Schedule Notes, one thing to watch out for is that if you are adding, removing, or changing notes while in the Schedule, you need to make sure to Push them back to the Model once you’re done, otherwise on the next updatm yoe, they’ll disappear frour Schedule.

Once you are ready, just select the schedule element(s) and hit the button at the top-right of the Schedule Notes palette:

Add ‘Autotext’ Tags Notes to the CI Doors and Windows Schedule

You can add ‘autotext’ tags into the schedule notes.

Go to the Schedule and then CI tools>Doors+Windows>Schedule Notes Manager, and add new Notes to the list.

Now you can use them in the Doors and windows settings>CI Tools Schedule Notes, just need to add what you would like to use.
