How to use Spline tool as a Marquee

Did you know you can use a closed spline circle as your marquee selection!?
This allows you to create unique 3D sections which can be used to form creative display views.

• Draw the desired shape over your floorplan using the spline – ensure you close the loop by connecting back to your starting point
• Select the marquee tool
• Hover over the spline, hold the space button to activate the magic wand tool & select the drawn spline shape
• The spline line will then be selected as the marquee
  
• Right click on the marquee, and select ‘Show selection in 3D’
• Enjoy your unique 3D view!
